Some people walk into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. Levi and Taryn have this connection, but it is unclear just what they will be to each other. Taryn Green is a spinoff character from my Black Hills Series and her young life has been full of misery. She only wants to be loved and that means finding it in all the wrong ways. Levi is the steadfast best friend waiting for her to discover herself as well as his true feelings for her.

 

 

Taryn's self-worth is based on what her current boyfriend thinks of her. As a daughter, sister, mother and friend, I have seen this happen far too often. I wanted to write a book(s) that would empower young people to discover themselves and then do everything they can to maintain their identity. I hope you share this with your young friends, but it is by no means for JUST young readers.
